FLIPTURN
Flipturn at Ardmore Music Hall
I showed up to Ardmore Music Hall on a packed Thursday night for Flipturn. Their opener was Brazen Youth who played a great hour long set and joked midway that they only had enough music to play 45 minutes. After a great set they closed with a cover of Natasha Bedingfield’s “Unwritten” that the whole crowd sang along to. When Flipturn came out to “Intro” the crowd was jumping up and down with the band and shouted along every word. This continued throughout the next two songs “The Fall” and “Sad Disco”. Every member of the band was dancing together and jumping all over the stage. This continued all the way throughout the rest of the show. After an incredible set they took left the stage before coming back for an encore and then closed with their hit songs “August” and “Nickel”. It was a great show with energy from both the band and the crowd, another great night spent at Ardmore Music Hall.
