Sunny War: Milkboy, Philadelphia, PA. 2/15/24.

When I saw Sunny War was coming to an intimate venue like the Milkboy I knew I had to go. The show was exactly that, a chance to see Sunny War showcase her great voice and guitar skills. The opener for the show was Brian Dunne a very cool musician from New Jersey that connected very well with the audience. He told the crowd about how he woke up one day and was internationally famous in the Netherlands. After playing a great set it was time for Sunny War. She started off her set by setting a timer and seeing how long her first song was which got a laugh from the crowd. She brought a very calming presence that was perfect for the venue. The highlight of her set was when she played Lucid Lucy a crowd favorite. It was a great show.
