STEPHEN SANCHEZ

Stephen Sanchez: Franklin Music Hall, Philadelphia, PA. 12/6/23.

In the same year that Stephen Sanchez played World Cafe Live he played a full crowd in Franklin Music Hall a venue over two times as big. Stephen Day opened up the show and brought a cool vibe that got everybody ready to see Stephen Sanchez. The stage was set up in a cool old fashioned style with lights lining the front of the stage and a big red curtain. When Stephen came out to “Something About Her” the crowd went nuts One of the highlights was when he played his first cover he dedicated to the pretty women of the crowd and then went on to play Roy Orbison’s “Pretty Woman”. The most energy of the night was when he played his song “Shake” which literally felt like taking a time machine back to an Elvis show. Stephen was dancing all over the stage and even playing side by side with his keys player. The next cool cover was when he played "Unchained Melody” that everyone in the audience was singing along to, even when Stephen went on to hit the big notes. He randomly went into a brief cover of “Use Somebody” by Kings of Leon and then laughed and said that was the first time that had happened on the tour. He closed out with his hit song “Until I Found You” which everyone in the crowd had their phones out for. When the song was over the band took a bow and was on their way. It was an incredible show.
