PINK

Pink: Minute Maid Park, Houston, TX. 9/27/23.

Pink's Summer Carnival Tour brought a vibrant explosion of music and energy to Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas, leaving fans in awe of her athleticism and enduring talent. With over 23 years in the music industry and a collection of three Grammy awards and numerous accolades, Pink proved why she's a true legend.

The night kicked off with Grouplove, a five-member alternative rock band from Los Angeles, who got the crowd pumped with their hit song "Tongue Tied." Their energetic performance set the stage for an unforgettable evening.

Next up was Brandi Carlile, who not only had a large fan base in attendance but also wore a pink blazer in honor of Pink herself. With background singers accompanying her on stage, Carlile made sure to acknowledge Pink's exceptional talent and hard work, declaring her as one of the best live performers in the industry. She even mentioned her excitement about joining the audience to watch Pink's performance. Carlile closed her set with a powerful rendition of Queen's "We Are the Champions."

And then, the moment everyone had been eagerly waiting for arrived. Pink took the stage, suspended in the air, flaunting her athleticism and stamina acquired over years in the show business. The carnival-themed stage, adorned with trampolines, bright colors, and bouncy balls, set the tone for a night of fun and excitement.

Pink's setlist included hits like "Please Don't Leave Me," "I Am Here," and "Blow Me," taking the audience on a journey through her extensive catalog. She displayed her versatility by singing a cover of Bob Dylan's "Make You Feel My Love" on the piano and performing "Nothing Compares 2 U" with Brandi Carlile, originally by Sinead O'Connor.

What truly made the evening special was Pink's personable interactions with the audience. She shared stories about motherhood and even brought her daughter, Willow, on stage. Willow, like a natural, wowed the crowd with her talent, leaving everyone in awe.

The concert was a perfect blend of playful fun and nostalgia, as Pink showcased her immense talent and charisma. She closed the show with an awe-inspiring aerial performance, suspended in the air above the crowd, while singing her hit song "So What." Pink's Summer Carnival Tour was a celebration of music, family, and the enduring spirit of one of the industry's most iconic artists.
