PEACH MUSIC FESTIVAL

Peach Music Festival: Montage Mountain, Scranton, PA. 6/30/23.

The energy at Montage Mountain was electric from the moment you even got to the parking lot. People were so excited for this festival and you could tell the fans were truly there to experience the music. At the Mushroom Stage the day started with Couch a fun band from Boston that can get any crowd dancing. After Couch was a Philadelphia based band called Son Little that sounded amazing and got the crowd growing before Mo Lowda + The Humble’s set. By the time Philly’s Mo Lowda took the stage it was jam packed. Right after they started anyone who didn’t previously know Mo Lowda was instantly a fan. They hit the guitar solos hard during “Coast is Waiting” and played some hits off their new album including “O.O.Y.O” and “Beachtown”. After Mo Lowda was New Jersey’s Dogs In A Pile who packed the entire area to the point you couldn’t even move around. The crowd went wild when they played a cover of the Grateful Dead’s “Jack Straw”. They kept the crowd dancing throughout their entire set. Soon after on the Peach Stage Boston based Ripe took the stage and the whole band was jumping and dancing all around the stage really engaging the fans. It was an amazing day spent at a very fun festival, and I’m already looking forward to next year!
