MEHRO
Mehro, The Fillmore, Philadelphia, PA 4/9/25.
TIt’s not easy getting a big crowd out on a Wednesday night, but the Fillmore in Philadelphia was buzzing. Half•Alive’s Persona Tour rolled through this past week, and they brought some serious energy—especially with opening support from mehro.
He kicked off the night with “Pirate Song,” a bold and cinematic opener that filled the room with a sense of wonder. As his set unfolded, the energy steadily climbed. Midway through, mehro pulled out a giant QR code, encouraging fans to scan it and join his mailing list in exchange for a free poster—easily one of the most clever bits of tour marketing I’ve seen in a while.
By the time he reached his final song, “you’re so pretty,” the crowd had fully loosened up, swaying and dancing along. After the set, a long line formed at the merch table to meet him—and once the crowd thinned out, I had the chance to take a few portraits and chat with him.
He shared how much he’s been enjoying the tour and pointed out his favorite fan gift: a necklace featuring the artwork from his album Trauma Lullabies. It was a quiet but powerful reminder of how strong and meaningful his connection is with his fans.
Meeting mehro was a real highlight—he radiates warmth and carries a captivating stage presence. If you’re planning to catch the Persona Tour, do yourself a favor and show up early for his set. You'll thank me later!
