STORY OF THE YEAR
Story of the Year: Mann Center, Philadelphia, PA. 7/11/23.
Another band I was excited about being listed on Yellowcard’s 20th anniversary of Ocean Avenue tour was Story of the Year. It had been some time since Story of the Year played in Philadelphia so it seemed like all of their fans had come out to the show and you could see Story of the Year merch everywhere you looked. They took the stage to Marky Mark’s “Good Vibrations” which the crowd loved and then were excited to hear them open up with “And the Hero Will Drown”. Although they also only played 8 songs it was a great setlist that had them running and jumping all over the stage. They closed with their all time hit of “Until the Day I Die” and you could see all the phones in the audience come out as everybody reminisced back.
