MANCHESTER ORCHESTRA
Manchester Orchestra, The Fillmore, Philadelphia, PA. 9/11/24.
When I saw Manchester Orchestra was coming to Philly I knew that was a can’t miss show, especially that it was the 10 years of COPE tour which was one of my favorite albums. The show opened up with Militarie Gun an American rock band from Los Angeles. The highlight of the set was when they played their song “Very High” which the crowd connected with while the band was jumping all over the stage. Manchester Orchestra came out onto the stage in a cloud of smoke. They started the show with “Top Notch” which was an incredible way to open the show. They continued all the way through the album before closing out their set with one of my all time favorite songs “The Silence”. They thanked Philadelphia and walked off the stage but everyone knew they had a few more. They came back out to play 4 more songs before closing it out with Shake It Out.
