YOKE LORE/CHELSEA CUTLER

Yoke Lore/Chelsea Cutler, The Met, Philadelphia, PA. 2/22/24.

Chelsea Cutler and Yoke Lore a perfect duo in Philly! The show opened up with Yoke Lore who I knew brought a ton of energy but was still shocked to see how much the singer moved all over the stage. While playing his banjo he still was jumping and swinging all around. One of the highlights of their set was when they played their version of “Truly Madly Deeply” a Savage Garden cover. The biggest highlight of Yoke Lore’s set was when they played their hit song “Beige” that the whole crowd sang along to and the singer jumped up as high in the air as he could multiple times. When Chelsea took the stage the crowd went nuts. She knew exactly what to say to get the crowd to cheer shouting out all things Philly loves. A funny thing during the set was that Chelsea kept reading fans signs with one of them reading that a fan was looking to get a date so she pointed it out and asked if anyone would want to go out with the girl holding the sign. She played all of her big hits including “Crazier Things” and even her collabs with Jeremy Zucker “You Were Good to Me” and “This Is How You Fall In Love”. Overall it was an amazing show with great energy from both acts.
