BOBBY WEIR & THE WOLF BROS

Bobby Weir & The Wolf Bros: The Met, Philadelphia, PA. 9/27/23.

It’s not every day you get to see one of the most influential musicians in history. After seeing Bob Weir play this year with Dead and Company I was excited to see him play with his solo project Bobby Weir & The Wolf Bros. While the crowd waited everyone was building with more and more anticipation. By the time Bob had taken the stage the crowd had fully filled the aisles to dance throughout the duration of the entire set. He came out to “Easy to Slip” which is a Little Feat cover and didn’t actually sing a Grateful Dead song until the 4th song. The fans went wild when he started playing “Althea” and then continued playing Grateful Dead songs throughout the next two sets. The highlight of the set was when he played a cover of Bob Dylan’s “All Along the Watchtower”. It was a very fun night for Philadelphia Grateful Dead/Bob Weir fans.
