Philly was blessed to be one of the tour stops of Australian legend Donny Benet. With a full crowd at Underground Arts he came out to an eruption of cheers from the fans. Coming out to iconic song “Working Out” everyone was so excited and he would make sure to step away from the microphone do to some of his patented Donny Benet dance moves. Soon after he played another great song with “Santorini” as well as “Love Online”. In between songs he would make sure to chat with the crowd and ask for suggestions. He let the crowd know he didn’t get a cheesesteak on this tour because that’s for amateurs so instead he got a hoagie before the show which the crowd loved. He resumed playing with his song “Konichiwa” and the crowd went back to dancing and jumping up and down in approval. When the show came to an end everyone wished Donny wouldn’t leave as he made some fans for life. A fun night had by all.
