YAM YAM BAND
Yam Yam Band at Ardmore Music Hall.
On a night where many people came to support both Philly’s Minka who opened up the show and sharing the co-headline spot with Dry Reef who is another Philly group everyone was excited to experience Harrisburg’s Yam Yam band. Right from the very first saxophone note to start the show the crowd knew they were in for something special. With a 5 piece band bringing the jams the audience was dancing from the start of the show all the way until the end. Some highlights of their set included when the saxophone player came over to the edge of the stage and played a long solo for the crowd and another is when the pianist/singer switched with the bassist and they both played each other’s instruments for a few songs. Definitely looking forward to seeing the Dry Reef/Yam Yam pairing in the future.
