The Backseat Lovers at the Foundry
It Being a huge Backseat Lovers fan I was super excited for this show at the Foundry. Sleepy Gonzalez opened the show and played a very fun set that got the crowd warmed up. By the time The Backseat Lovers took the stage everyone was at the venue and pumped for them to come out. They had some of those most energy I’ve seen on stage all year the singer was playing the guitar and moving all over the stage. At one point he jumped onto the balance beam that goes across the ceiling and Spider-Man crawled across the whole venue to the bar. The crowd was singing along to all of their songs and when “Kilby Girl” came on everybody was jumping up and down with the rest of the band. It was an incredible show, I can’t wait to see them again.
