ANDY FRASCO

Andy Frasco: Brooklyn Bowl, Philadelphia, PA. 10/12/23.

There’s no show like an Andy Frasco show. I got to the show super excited knowing I was in for a wild one. The opener was a band named Cool Cool Cool that had a fun vibe with two singers and several instruments behind them. The highlight of their set was when they covered Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain” which the crowd loved. In between sets the Whole audience was up at the bar watching the Phillies game yelling along to the TV. When Andy Frasco took the stage everybody came running down as there were several die hard Andy Frasco fans in attendance. Andy didn’t disappoint instantly he went onto the piano and cracked his bottle of Jameson and took a huge swig of it before dancing around the stage. Early on in the set he told the crowd to “part the sea” because he was coming in and he came down into the crowd chugged someone’s mini bottle of Jameson and hit someone’s roach and made everyone sit down so they could build the energy up. His fellow band members had just as much energy, the guitarist even came down into the crowd and played a solo right in the photo pit. One highlight of the set was when he played the “Birthday Song” and brought two people who’s birthday it was and then twerked on them from on top of the piano. Another cool moment was when the other guitarist climbed onto the piano and played the guitar with the Jameson bottle. After a set with some amazing covers he played his hit song “Dancin’ Around My Grave” and the whole crowd was dancing along with him. He came back out for an encore and gave the crowd a few more songs before an epic finale. It was a classic wild Andy Frasco night.
